Demands of the marketplace require that operators continually increase output, operate at higher temperatures, higher pressures, deeper water depths, and to process increasingly corrosive fluids. This constant need for advancement requires that the valves must perform in these demanding conditions.  WdValve Engineering / Design department is organized to continually develop custom valve solutions to fulfill these demands. With our proven experience, Wdvalve is regularly requested to work by assisting engineering companies and end users by providing critical information in the conceptual stages of a projects which have conditions never attempted before. 

 

WdValve has the full capability to handle all aspects design and engineering for the specialty products that the marketplace may require. Part of our standard design procedure involves the prediction, through Finite Element Analysis, of stress levels and deflections. This includes non-linear analysis of large valve bodies, with the simulation of the behavior of all seals in all operating conditions such as pressure, temperature, and external loads. The Calculation Office has over 15 years of experience in FEA of complex structures utilizing the most sophisticated software of its kind and is currently using: 2D CAD-CADRA, Supersap FEA 3D, Ideas FEA 3D, Algor, Flowell Thermohydraulics of Fluids, etc. FEA is utilized to confirm a design will withstand load conditions required by client specification and it is used as an actual design tool to create internals such as ball gate and seats, which will allow us to immediately determine the affect of the pressure and loads of the pieces as it is being designed.
