Certified by API-6D 0752, SIRA, ISO9001:2000, CE, and TS, the WdValve Quality Assurance System was created to guarantee the consistent quality expected on an international level. WdValve achieves its quality requirements, in part, by selecting sub-suppliers that meet WdValve qualification criteria and that can consistently execute its activities in accordance with our Quality Assurance System. WdValve can insure that our valves and actuators comply with the most sophisticated technical and contractual requirements by coordinating and optimizing control of sub-supplier, manufacture, in process inspections, examinations, through the final pressure test.
Non Destructive Examinations include: - Dimensional control (computerised machine)
- Dye penetrant (PT) examination in a dedicated area to avoid environmental impacts
- Magnetic particle (MT) examination (dry, wet or fluorescent methods done by yoke or prods)
- Ultrasonic Test (UT) examination by Krautkramer instruments
- Radiographic Examination (RT): Gamma-Ray or X-Ray in our own Bunker
- PMI using Texas Nuclear instrument
- Ferrite check using Ferritoscope instrument
- Electronic profilometer instrument to measure roughness
- Paint dry film thickness check
Destructive tests conducted in WdValve laboratory: - Mechanical tests, hardness test and Impact Test
- Chemical analysis from CS up to Super Alloys using spectrometer
- Check analysis, C & S using induction analyser
- Corrosion tests (e.g. Pitting, SSCC, Huey, Crevice)
- Micro examinations by electronic microscope up to x500 magnifications
- Macro examinations
- Ferrite check according to E562
- Pull-off test equipment for paint adhesion check
Moreover, an integrated combination and optimisation of controls at manufacturers, sub-suppliers, and in process inspections, examinations and final pressure tests (conventional and special tests), assure valves and actuators to the highest quality level complying with the most severe technical and contractual requirements.
Again, a wide selection of the last generation inspection and test equipment permits to guarantee the highest quality control levels, confidence and control of our processes capability and the final product quality.
